Meg KerriganM.Ed., CDP
Meg has spent the last 17 years working as a special education teacher in Massachusetts public schools. After going through the level I Wilson training, Meg realized how much she enjoyed working with dyslexic students. She received her Master’s degree from Fitchburg State College in 2005, where she studied reading disabilities. This also lead to her earning her Reading Specialist License in addition to her Moderate Special Needs license. Meg has spent a lot of time learning various reading approaches in order to meet her students needs. In 2008 she completed her Orton-Gillingham training at the Children’s Dyslexia Center in Lowell, MA. In addition to Wilson and Orton-Gillingham, Meg has also been trained in other O-G based programs and LiPS. She believes that all children can benefit from explicit, systematic, multisensory instruction in the classroom.
